GETTING STARTED
How do I sign up?
Your veterinary team will help you enroll. Scan the QR code in clinic or visit the enrollment website. It takes just a few minutes.
Is this pet insurance?
No. Snout wellness plans are preventive care plans that bundle routine services like exams, vaccines, and wellness diagnostics into affordable monthly payments.
Can I sign up for a plan after my visit?
Plan benefits can’t be applied to appointments that already happened, so enroll before or during your visit. Once enrolled, benefits apply to all future visits.
Can I use my plan at other clinics?
Every plan is unique to the hospital you enrolled at and can’t be used elsewhere unless specified.
BILLING & ACCOUNT
How does billing work?
The card on file with Snout is charged once a month for your membership fee. Plan-covered items are paid by Snout at your visit; anything not included is charged to your card unless paid in clinic. You’ll get emailed receipts after each visit.
How do I change my contact or billing info?
Update it anytime in the Snout Portal at client.snout.com/login, or reach out to Snout Support and we’ll help.
RENEWALS
What happens when my plan ends?
Your plan renews automatically, so your pet’s care is already set up for the year ahead. We’ll send a renewal email 30 days beforehand with the plan you’re renewing into.
What if I need to make a change?
Just reply to that renewal email and we’ll take care of it, whether that’s a different plan, new payment details, or anything else.
Do I have to do anything to renew?
No. If the plan still fits your pet, do nothing and it continues on the same monthly schedule.
CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS
Can I cancel my plan?
Plans are a 12-month commitment. Cancellations are only permitted in certain circumstances and a $25 cancellation fee may be charged. The balance of plan services used is due upon cancellation.
I signed up for the wrong plan. What now?
Reach out to our member support team and we’ll sort out the right plan for your pet.
Can I transfer my plan to a different pet?
No. Plans are specific to the individual pet enrolled.
What if my pet passes away?
We understand this is a difficult time. We’ll calculate any remaining balance based on services used versus payments made. Monthly charges continue until the balance is paid in full, then the plan is closed.
